How this website handles analytics, cookies and personal data.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Who runs this site
The data controller for this website is AIQT (aiQuantumTech), a student club at Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJAIT), ul. Koszykowa 86, 02-008 Warsaw, Poland.
What this site collects, and why
This site has no forms and no input fields. It never asks for your name, email address or an account.
Before you answer the cookie banner, the site counts your visit anonymously. Nothing is written to your device. The page view itself is still sent to PostHog’s servers in the EU to be counted. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If the link you followed carried campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term or utm_content), the site removes them from the address bar and sends them with the analytics events, so we can see which links bring visitors. The labels describe the link, not you. Legal basis: the same as the events they travel with. That is legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, before you answer the banner, and your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, after Accept.
Accept turns on full analytics: page views, clicks, and a session recording — a replay of your visit showing the pages you open, your mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, together with any messages your browser’s console prints. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Reject stops all capture and sending, and clears any visitor ID left by an earlier Accept in this browser. Answering either way records your choice in this browser only; that record is never sent anywhere.
The site’s host records request logs, including your IP address, to serve and protect the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Recording never runs before you accept. Nothing on this site requires personal data, and declining analytics changes nothing about browsing or registering.
What is stored on your device
Until you answer the banner, nothing is stored on your device.
- Consent record — remembers your banner answer. Written as soon as you answer, either way. Stays until you clear your browser data.
- Analytics cookies and matching browser storage — hold a random visitor ID so repeat visits are counted as one visitor. Written only after Accept. Duration 365 days, or cleared sooner if you choose Reject.
- Campaign record — remembers the campaign labels of the link you followed, so later analytics events in the same tab carry them. Written only after Accept, to this tab’s session storage. Your browser removes it when you close the tab; restoring a closed tab brings it back. Reject erases it in the current tab, and in other open tabs when they reload.
- No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking, and no sale of data.
Who receives this data
PostHog, Inc. processes the analytics data as our processor, on PostHog Cloud EU, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. The data is stored in the EU.
Vercel hosts this site and processes its request logs, including IP addresses, in the United States. That transfer relies on Standard Contractual Clauses, with Vercel’s EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification as an additional basis.
Neither receives your name or email address from this site.
How long this data is kept
PostHog deletes analytics event data after 1 year, and session recordings after 30 days. Both are defaults of our Free plan and cannot be shortened. Analytics cookies expire after 365 days, or are cleared sooner if you choose Reject. The campaign record ends when you close the tab. Your consent record stays in this browser until you clear your browser data.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you access to your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing or hand it over in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. This site holds no name, email address or account data, so these rights concern only the analytics visitor ID. Email us to exercise any of them.
Withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. It reopens the same banner with two equal buttons. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).
Services outside this site
